Steel Guard Safety Moving to Larger Location

You know SteelGuard Safety as one of the leading manufacturers of industrial safety products, including industrial curtain walls, tarps, awnings, and more. Since 1913, we’ve produced reliable, durable products for a number of industries, and we’re proud to announce that in the second week of November, we’ll be packing our bags and moving to a larger location.

What’s to Come?

Since the company’s inception, our focus has changed, and in 2005, SteelGuard Safety incorporated a division of the business that would center on industrial safety and barrier protection. Our industrial safety fabric products have been used across many applications, including at auto body shops, manufacturing plants, cold storage warehouses, agricultural facilities, and more, and with an increase in demand, it’s only fitting to move house to a larger space so we can keep doing more—growing our business and better serving our clients.

Our new facility will be located at 16520 Vincennes Ave. in South Holland, IL. Our manufacturing space will be increased to an impressive 17,000 square feet, and a new, lean manufacturing layout will be implemented. We’re looking forward to a larger and more efficient workspace, because it will help us serve our clients better.

What This Means for Our Customers

Moving to a larger space means we’ll not only be localized to a greater labor force, but we’ll be able to offer quicker ship times in the centralized Chicago metropolitan area. We know our customers rely on us to ship in a timely manner, and now, we’ll have the capability of doing so even more efficiently. The move also means we’ll be localized to a larger workforce, making it easier for people to get to work.

Our products are manufactured onsite, and we’re dedicated to utilizing the highest quality construction and craftsmanship. Each product is constructed to meet our customers’ needs and specifications, and with our new space, we’ll be able to serve all of our clients even better.
