Industrial Heat Resistant Curtains

Steel Guard Safety manufactures custom designed industrial heat resistant curtains which are made to isolate and contain processes like heat producing ovens, equipment, and furnaces. These high heat curtains increase safety because of there highly thermal properties from materials like Fiberglass, Silica, Carbon Felt, and others. These materials contain and shield Heavy Industrial processes such as sparks, molten splash, and temperature sources up to 2000 degrees. Depending on the application Steel Guard will manufacture a combination of these materials to reflect, block, and insulate the heat source. Below are some of the materials we use but not limited to manufacture our Industrial heat resistant curtains. Also below are two common types of High Temperature Curtain styles we manufacture.

Weld Armor™ -

18 oz. Untreated Fiberglass Cloth. A great value for light to medium duty welding protection from sparks and spatter in a vertical plane. Characteristics are limited for abrasion protection.

35 oz Uncoated Fiberglass Cloth. Extra thickness is suitable for medium duty welding protection from sparks and spatter and stress relief.

Slag Shield™ -

28 oz Heavy Acrylic Coated Fiberglass. For use in medium duty welding applications. Resistant to abrasion, stops sparks, spatter, and slag.

Metali-Shield™ -

19 oz. Fiberglass Fabric with one side surfaced with aluminized Mylar for reflection of radiant heat and the other with side treated with a flame retardant coating for moisture resistance. For use in light to medium welding applications. Excellent resistance to abrasion, grinding, cutting and spatter.

Red Spark™ –

32 oz Silicone Coated Fiberglass coated on both sides. For use in medium to heavy-duty welding applications. Excellent protection from abrasion and oil. Resistant to sparks, spatter, and some molten splash.

White Spark™ -

18 oz and 35 oz Woven Amorphous Silica Cloth. No abrasion resistant coating. Cloth offers moderate abrasion resistance. Intended use is for heavy-duty welding, high heat source isolation and superior protection against grinding, cutting and spatter.

Knight Armor™ -

16 oz Acrylic Coated Fiberglass. Soft felt feel but resistant to extremely high temperatures. Commonly used in Auto Body Applications. Offers moderate protection against grinding, welding, brazing and high heat applications.
