SCC-9 Sound Absorbing Material

SCC-9 is a 2″ thick fiberglass with a durable vinyl coated material quilted over the front of the fiberglass cloth and also quilted on the back side(optional). Generally, used along walls, as Wall Panels or Overhead baffles, the material is sewn with a strong Nylon Thread and hemmed on all four sides. Rolls come available at widths of 4’ wide x 25’ long, back side an be finished or unfinished.

Applications:

SCC-9 is typically used when you are trying to absorb sound in interior environments and reflect sound waves and reverberant noise energy to be less directive and harmful in one area of a room. Generally used against walls mainly as an absorber, but does have minimal blocking abilities at 2″ thick. Also used to supplement plywood structures on construction sites to improve the transmission loss of the plywood as well as to lower and reduce the noise on the worker’s side.
