Exhaust hoods provide a vital safety component in welding areas, helping to ensure employees remain safe from potentially hazardous fumes. They are often associated with Welding Extraction Hoods or even Restaurant Exhaust Hoods ovens and other baking related tasks but can be used just as effectively in many more applications – directing heat away from personnel and into the ventilation extractor.

Customers can customize their extraction strip curtain color depending on the amount of UV light they need to block in their workspace. While PVC strip are appropriate with temperatures update 180 degrees F, higher temp materials such as Silicone Coated Fiberglass are available for air temperatures up to 500 degrees. While all colors are OSHA approved, darker shades do provide additional protection for UV flash if needed, by blocking more rays and ensuring long-term safety compliance.
