Industrial Heat Resistant Curtains

Custom High Temperature Curtain Systems for Furnaces, Ovens & Extreme Heat Environments

Steel Guard Safety manufactures custom-built industrial heat resistant curtains designed to isolate, contain, and shield extreme heat sources in heavy industrial environments. From coke furnaces and foundry operations to heat treating ovens and radiant heat processes, our high temperature curtains are engineered from materials rated to handle continuous temperatures up to 2000°F and intermittent exposure up to 3000°F.

Unlike standard industrial curtains, our heat resistant curtain systems are constructed from specialized materials — fiberglass, silica cloth, PTFE-coated fiberglass, aluminized silica, and silicone-quilted composites — selected and combined based on the thermal, chemical, and mechanical demands of your specific application. Steel Guard Safety evaluates each project individually and recommends the right material system to reflect, block, or insulate the heat source.

Heat Resistant Curtain Materials We Work With

Each material in our high temperature curtain line is rated for specific temperature ranges and use cases. Below are the primary curtain systems we manufacture:

HT-1000 — Acrylic Coated Fiberglass Curtain: Lightest-duty option. Rated to 1000°F constant. Designed for welding arc containment, flash barriers, and heat shielding in light to medium applications. NFPA-701 flame retardant certified. View HT-1000 Acrylic Coated Fiberglass Curtains

HT-2000 — PTFE Coated Fiberglass Curtain: Chemical and weather resistant. Rated to 600°F constant. Ideal for environments requiring resistance to chemical exposure alongside high heat. View HT-2000 PTFE Coated Fiberglass Curtains

HT-3000 — High Silica Cloth Curtain: 96% pure amorphous silica. Rated to 2000°F constant and 3000°F intermittent. Built for extreme heat shielding in multi-layer configurations where standard fiberglass is insufficient. View HT-3000 High Silica Cloth Curtains

HT-4000 — Aluminized Silica Cloth Curtain: High silica base with aluminum coating for superior radiant heat reflection. Rated to 2000°F constant and 3000°F intermittent. Excellent for maintaining cooling processes and reflecting furnace radiant heat. View HT-4000 Aluminized Silica Cloth Curtains

HT-5000 — Silicone Quilted Molten Splash Curtain: Multi-layer silicone impregnated fiberglass with E-glass insulation core. Rated to 2000°F constant and 3000°F intermittent. Engineered specifically to shed molten splash and provide superior thermo-insulating performance. View HT-5000 Silicone Quilted Molten Splash Curtains

Common Applications for Industrial Heat Resistant Curtains

Steel Guard Safety’s industrial heat curtain systems are deployed across a wide range of heavy manufacturing and processing environments, including:

• Coke furnace and foundry furnace heat containment
• Heat treating and cure oven entry/exit coverage
• Radiant heat shielding around industrial equipment
• Molten splash and molten metal barrier applications
• Work area separation from high-heat processes
• Welding arc containment, flash barriers, and heat shields

Custom Designed to Your Application

Every industrial heat resistant curtain we build is custom designed. Our sales team works with you to specify material, layer count, curtain dimensions, mounting hardware, grommet spacing, and optional chain bottoms for draft stability. Track and roller systems are available to create flexible, repositionable heat barriers across large furnace openings or work area dividers.
