Project Case Studies
Most of what we build goes in without incident. The projects worth writing up are the ones that didn’t.
The case studies here are projects where something went wrong before anything got built — a fire code requirement the product category couldn’t satisfy, a roof structure with no capacity left, a deadline that didn’t move. Each one lists the constraint, what we changed, and the full specifications of what shipped.
We manufacture curtains, enclosures, and insulated systems in South Holland, Illinois, which is why these problems get solved on our floor instead of somewhere in a supply chain. If your project has a constraint like one of these, we’d rather hear about it early.

Insulated Demising Curtain for Warehouse Temperature Separation
250,000 sq ft separated for temperature-controlled storage in a Type IIB building — clearing a noncombustibility requirement the insulated curtain category cannot meet, and removing the truss reinforcement scope from the job.
Have a project with a constraint no one has solved yet?
Send us the construction type, the structural limits, and what the space has to do. We’ll tell you what’s possible before it becomes a schedule problem.
