Steel Guard’s Outdoor Curtains are the perfect solution for your Exterior Building for sealing out temperature, and inclement weather in your work environment. No matter it be wind, rain, or shine, Steel Guard Safety’s Outdoor Curtain’s will last for years against the elements and are much more cost effective (up to over 10 x as cheap!) than permanent concrete, or brick walls.

Specifications


16 Gauge Galvanized Steel Track –  1.5” wide x 1.75” height – available with 6 different mounting options. ( See Mounting Options )

 2-Wheel Nylon Roller Hooks – for easy sliding and retracting of the curtains. (2-wheel steel roller hooks available for large curtain systems.)

#2 Brass Grommets – spaced every 6” on center on the top of the curtain the grommets attach to the 4-wheel nylon roller hooks.

18 oz Coated Vinyl Fabric – Great for Outdoor use and abrasion.  Fabric’s cold crack resistance to -20 degrees.

 40 Mil PVC – Optional 48” PVC window lets you clearly view work areas.

Velcro Side Attachments & Turn Buckles – 2” Velcro are sewn on the edges of each curtain to attach multiple curtains together.  Optional Turn Buckles set within the Velcro allow for greater security.

Reinforced Panels – Panels are manufactured with extra reinforcement from polyester webbing for strong resistance against wind.

Floor Mount Attachments – D-Ring Floor Mounts with buckle and clip attachments keep your curtain system secure to the floor to prevent wind whip.


Steel-Scrim vinyl vs. Standard vinyls



Steel Scrim vinyl is over 84% stronger than standard vinyl laminate with over 406 lbs of tensile strength per square inch. The advanced proprietary trilateral design causes the vinyl to bunch up and collapse upon itself when punctured, automatically resealing itself.

Sizes and Configurations

The Curtain Walls are available with our unique 16 gage galvanized steel roller track system to slide in and out of use in you r desired configuration in seconds. They can be designed in almost any configuration, height, and width.

Construction

All interior seams on curtain walls are heat sealed at over 900 degrees to create a molecular bond between vinyl seams. Exterior edges and edges with Velcro attachments are sewn using a double-lock stitch with a very strong rot resistant nylon thread.
